    The Adviser’s Guide to Social Security: Unlocking the Mystery of Retirement Planning

    Ted was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Personal Financial Planning Division’s committee that helped draft the AICPAs position paper on the privatization of Social Security proposed by President Bush in 2005.

    Since 2006, Ted has spoken at the Annual AICPA Personal Financial Planning conference on the topic of Social Security teaching CPAs from across the country on the intricate nuances of the system.  He has been asked by many state society of CPAs, the Financial Planning Association, Estate Planning Council and private groups to give a presentation on Social Security to their organizations and clients as well.

    Ted was interviewed for a 45 minute segment of NPR on the topic of retirement and Social Security in 2009.  In 2011, Ted authored “The CPAs Guide to Social Security” that is now for sale through the AICPA (The Adviser’s Guide to Social Security: Unlocking the Mystery of Retirement Planning) He has updated the guide for 2012 and 2013 to keep it current with law changes.
